Cordées de la réussite - 2025
IVPC welcomed a group of enthousiastics high school students and introduced them to how science is done in a research lab. I gave a talk on mosquitoes, what makes them beautiful (and a little scary) to pass this message: their is nothing to be feared, only to be understood ;)

Salon de l’agriculture (2024)

I presented the Mous’Team project on the INRAE stand at the international meeting on agriculture in February 2024.

Mous’Team (2023)

100 participants from Lyon Metropolis will engage in the project and collect mosquitoes using BG-GAT traps in order to map the density of the Asian tiger mosquito (Aedes albopictus) in the 3rd larger city of France. The aim is also to quantify engagement towards citizen science, perform anthropological study, spread good practices in terms of vector control and increase knowledge about mosquito-borne diseases. Starting September 8, 2023. More infos here (in French).

Scientific mediation - "La Bio Au Labo" (2018)

During my Labex project 'ComEndoVir' in 2018, I did science vulgarization to explain what it is to be a scientist and to work in a lab. I talked about my "everyday" research.  I ran the Twitter page of LaBioAuLabo for a week (writing messages, publishing pictures/videos and interacting with the followers). Great experience! Thanks to Cercle FSER for inviting me.

Scientific mediation - déclics (2017 & 2018)

Together with members from the Leulier lab, we have met high school students to talk about research, science, career and the numerous ways that exist to become a scientist. Super insightful.
